UN’s Agenda 21 Equals Organized ‘Snitching’

Slowly but surely we are losing our rights, freedom and sovereignty under the guise of global environmentalism.  As Dr. Paugh says, "Do we really need the United Nations to regulate our country, corporations, and citizens in every way into poverty because third world nations think that we are not good stewards of the environment and must thus be controlled and snitched on if we don’t comply?"

Hello to the World~

This is the first day of my blog.  I'm sitting here on my couch with husband and four dogs, like most Sundays.  I'm nobody special, but guess I'm officially part of the "blogosphere" now.  At almost the age of 60, I'm feeling kinda proud of myself right about now.  Have to give credit where it's due, though: my husband always said if I created my own blog I should entitle it, Self Evident (thanks, honey!).  His reasoning is, as is mine, the most important part of the Declaration of Independence was the line, "we hold these truths to be self evident".  My thoughts being, we each have an individual life capable of our own governance, morality, accountability, and sense of purpose.  We are NOT part of a collective; I refuse to be part of a "Group Think".

I probably won't be as prolific as those blogs that I frequent.  I think some of those folks must get way less sleep than I do.  But then again I'm employed AND old, so need more sleep than others.  My goal is to share some insights from people I admire and include my own opinions, which you may or may not agree with and might be able to persuade me to change.  You see, I'm open-minded.  Yes, I know, that is not typical of most people.  I do have some core values that will NOT be compromised.  But you could probably change my mind on the details given a good and thoughtful argument but it will have to be a REALLY good argument.

I will tell you now, so you don't waste your time, I am a constitutional conservative and social libertarian.  So if you're a left wing, global climate, redistribution of wealth, big bloated government, nanny state (well, you get the picture) type person, you're in the wrong place.  There's other places you might feel more comfortable like the Huffington Post, Media Matters, Move On.org (See George Soros).  Anyway, if you are for liberty, freedom, and mature conversation, sit down and stay awhile.  The coffee pot is always on...
